BIOTECHNOLOGY CLUB
The purpose of the club is to provide opportunities for members to develop skills and abilities needed to enter and advance in careers related to the application of biotechnology as it is used in agriculture, national resources, medicine, and other areas of life science research. The club is associated on a state and national level with the Postsecondary Agriculture Student Organization (PAS). Currently all local, state, and national PAS dues are paid through fundraising efforts of the club. Guest speakers from the life science community give presentations at the meetings and the club is active with social events and travel to PAS and other industry related conferences and workshops. Anyone interested in life sciences is welcome.
